To roll out the Simulation based Trabeculectomy Training Programme across Sub-Saharan Africa in order to equip ophthalmologists with the surgical skills required for delivering high quality glaucoma surgery.

Please do share the resources you may have developed so that we can expand and develop a comprehensive skills training programme.  The Glaucoma Toolkit is available in the Resources section.

To develop regional data sets of clinical practice which clinicians can input real world data on characteristics of glaucoma patients and outcomes of interventions.  In future, this will highlight trends and areas of need and provide benchmarks from which we can together, develop optimal service delivery protocols.”
